What Handmade Really Means

At Haberdash Leather handmade means just that. All items are produced 100% by hand. Each piece is cut, assembled, and stitched by hand.  Leather by its nature is a long lasting material.   By taking the time to hand-make each piece we extend that life even further.  The key lies in the stitching. It’s a saddle stitch and unlike machine sewing, each hand-sewn stitch is independent of the other.  In today’s age of mass product items, the time spent to hand produce goods is worth it.  The end result is a product with character and crafted to last generations.
